Large open plan retail space. Extreme heat issues due to lighting load and solar gain.
Solution: Smart Air Solutions provided a cost effective solution which fit the aesthetic of the store by using ceiling mounted cassettes.

Platypus Shoes, Wellington City

Retail store. This retailer wanted to keep customers comfortable without spoiling the high trend look of the store whilst meeting council code fresh air requirements. 

Solution: Smart Air were involved with the architect at the design stage to ensure all codes were met. We installed two commercial high capacity ceiling consoles, a discreet fresh air system and an air curtain to minimise running costs.

Big Save, Paraparaumu

Large warehouse style retailer. Three peaked ‘barn’ style roofs meant traditional air conditioning would not be effective.
Solution: Smart Air Solutions provided a more comfortable environment without the expense of full air conditioning to manage extremes of temperature inside.

NZCT, Thorndon

Four story building. Multiple use requirements including office spaces and server rooms over four floors.
Solution: Smart Air Solutions installed a range of systems including hi walls and cassettes to suit each individual environment throughout the building.

Pipitea Marae, Thorndon

Huge open plan venue. The freezing cold main space was often used to host overnight guests.
Solution: Smart Air Solutions installed two large commercial ducted systems, perfect for heating a large open plan space. Other rooms were fitted with multiple console units which allowed for the room sizes to be adjusted according to need.
